Discover Reardan is an independent community guide to Reardan, Washington, operated by Steinwood Investments, LLC, a Washington limited liability company doing business as Discover Reardan (“we,” “us,” or “our”). When you use a contact form, submit an event, ask a question, sign up for a newsletter, or apply for our scholarship, you may provide information such as your name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message or submission. Please do not send sensitive personal information through the Site.

9. Washington consumer health data

Washington’s My Health My Data Act regulates “consumer health data.” Discover Reardan is a general community-information website and does not seek, collect, use, store, sell, or share consumer health data as defined by that Act. We do not ask visitors for health information, and we do not use health-related data to target advertising. Our Medical & Health page provides general public information and links only; it does not collect health information from you. If our practices ever change, we will update this policy and provide any separate consumer health data policy that the law requires.

10. California and other state rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of “sales” or “sharing” of personal information or targeted advertising. To the extent our use of advertising cookies is considered a sale or sharing under your state’s law, you may opt out through our cookie tool, the industry opt-outs in Section 6, or a Global Privacy Control signal. To make a request, contact us using the details below; we may need to verify your identity before responding, and you may use an authorized agent where the law allows.

11. Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it. Where a scholarship applicant is a minor, a parent or legal guardian should submit or supervise the application.

12. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, after which we delete or de-identify it.

13. Data security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive personal information through the Site.

14. Third-party links

The Site links to and embeds content from other websites and services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one. We encourage you to review the policies of any third-party site you visit.
